Our diverse client base which includes renewable energy system providers, utilities, commercial, retail, industrial, government, and educational facilities has grown significantly and we are looking for talented project managers to manage small and large scale projects installing and commissioning the Noveda energy monitoring system(s).
Position Overview:
Under general direction of the Chief Project Manager, you will lead and direct Noveda projects from start to finish. Project Manager Position requires understanding of building energy systems - mechanical, HVAC, electrical distribution systems, PV solar, and building automation systems. This position requires a high level of functional integration.
Responsibilities:
- Manages projects from original concept through final implementation (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
- Interfaces with relevant external and internal stakeholder groups.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project & reviews deliverables with team prior to issuing to client.
- Enforces project standards.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and filed appropriately.
- Manages the project budget.
- Tracks and reports the project team hours and expenses.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following abilities, experience, and skills:
- 10 years of experience in project management related to mechanical or electrical construction.
- Experience in contract administration, electric utility interconnection, gas utility interconnection, and steam utility interconnection.
- Knowledgeable in solar pv systems.
- Certified project management professional (PMP) preferred.
- Professional Engineer preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ME, EE, or IE.
- Able to read electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio.
