Come and Share Your Knowledge With Our Children

Nature's Classroom is:

• A residential environmental education program dedicated to motivational learning, community awareness and conservation of natural resources.
• A program that brings children, usually ages 9 to 13, along with their own teachers to any of our 14 centers in the northeastern region of the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Group leader and teacher in the 5-day residential program.
• Develop and present classes in a variety of academic areas.
• Special projects and light maintenance of facility.
• Evening activities and mealtime duties.

Compensation:

• Staff salaries are $260 - $350 per week based on education and experience.
• Room and board 7 days a week.
• The ability to teach in an informal setting at a 1 to 12 ratio.
• A supportive organization that is willing to help you develop professionally.
• Freedom to explore new areas for classes and program.
• The chance to open your own site in association with Nature's Classroom.

Dates of Employment:

Nature's Classroom runs throughout the school year. We are currently hiring for positions that begin in Late August and run until November and December.
