Marketing and Communications Manager

Position Overview: 

This position is responsible for developing the overall corporate marketing strategy in collaboration with the executive team. Once established this position will be responsible for developing the positioning, programs and materials to achieve the established strategic objectives. The position provides support to both the Resource Management Services and the Marketing Strategies business units.

In addition to supporting the business units, the position would develop and manage the corporate marketing and communications (external and internal) for RSG.

Responsibilities: 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Corporate Marketing and Communications:

• Support the development of the RSG brand and positioning
• Plans and oversees all advertising and promotional activities
• Sources agencies and suppliers and negotiates contract terms and serves as a liaison to outside service providers, such as designers, printers, and fulfillment
• Review all forms of communication - job postings, press releases, proposals, etc. to make sure to assess effectiveness and consistency with RSG's branding and positioning
• Write all or portions of various documents including but not limited to promotional and collateral materials, conference papers, proposals, project reports and case studies
• Determine the most cost-effective approach for delivering the project message to the target market
• Assist in designing, developing and reviewing the marketing and communication plan for the project
• Execute and deliver assigned portions of the marketing and communication plan, including outsourcing work as needed

Project Marketing and Communications:

• Determine the most cost-effective approach for delivering the project message to the target market
• Assist in designing, developing and reviewing the marketing and communication plan for the project

Internal Communications:

• Determine the most effective means for delivering information to our employees
• Design the layout and content for the communications to employees
• Establish the process for collecting the information to be included in employee communications
• Deliver regular and relevant communications to employees

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field required
• Minimum of 10 years professional experience in marketing required including development of product/service promotional materials, website strategy and content, and corporate marketing materials
• Minimum of 5 years experience in communications
• Experience in marketing strategy and proposal writing preferred
• Experience in marketing of technical and service oriented products/services preferred
