Neighbor to Neighbor Outreach Coordinator

The Chesapeake Covenant Community (CCC), an interfaith environmental organization, is seeking a 3/5 time Coordinator for our new “Neighbor to Neighbor” home energy reduction project in Baltimore City.

Responsibilities:

The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and overseeing an educational outreach campaign within 20 Baltimore City congregations designed to reduce energy consumption in members’ homes.

Working through the CCC network, the Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting pilot congregations and coordinating the congregations' volunteer energy teams, their training and their outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, a passion for caring for creation, familiarity with household energy issues, comfort with the faith community, demonstrated ability to work in coalitions, strong public speaking, writing and people skills.

Compensation: $25,000
