Material Technician

Ichor Systems, Inc. is an OEM and contract manufacturing company headquartered in Tualatin, OR.  Industries served include semiconductor and solar. 

Position Overview:

We are currently looking to fill a position within our shipping department.  The position will be apart of our SWING SHIFT, working the hours of 3:30pm - 12:00am.  Please reference the following Duties, Responsibilities, & Requirements to determine if you are a possible fit for the position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and retains all shipping documents in accordance with all International, State, Federal and local laws. 
• Maintain a goal of 100% inventory accuracy by using good inventory control practices and by using cycle counting and kit audit reporting. 
• Ensure all material transactions, receiving issues and distribution activities are completed within established limits.  
• Maintain good customer service skills with internal and external customers. 
• Good knowledge of shipping and logistic principles.
• Knowledge of importing and exporting terminology and practices. Oracle experience is a plus.  
• Strong MRP/ERP, material control systems and PC competency. 
• Strong knowledge of the English language and good communication skills as well as team building skills.  
• Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment and may possess training certification.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Degree or equivalent. 
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required. 
• Demonstrated 2 to 4 years of practical experience in logistics, shipping and receiving. 
• Computer literate, basic spreadsheet knowledge. 
• Import and export shipping knowledge required.  APICS education a plus. 
• Material handling in the electronics-manufacturing environment and some knowledge of ESD packaging and handling desired. 
• Current drivers license required.
