Position Overview: 

We currently seek an experienced Site Safety Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment at multiple energy services project locations throughout the greater Aiken, SC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, manage, and maintain comprehensive environmental safety & health programs at project sites.
  • Provide Project Management Team with guidance on health and safety and confirm project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action and implement follow up assessments.
  • Collaborate with Project Management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as Primary Contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
  • Plan, implement, and conduct project site preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years large scale commercial/ government/ industrial construction project management experience, including at least 4 years management level safety profession experience.
  • Current certifications in CPR, OSHA, 30-hour Construction Safety and industry standards plus familiarity with DOE 10 CFR Part 851 highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage positive and effective interpersonal, functional, and organizational relationships with all parties.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication and presentation skills.
  • Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
  • Ability to travel and provide on-call response required.
