ecobeco is the leading Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Energy Auditing firm in Montgomery County, Maryland. We are a one-stop shop that helps home owners improve the comfort and energy efficiency of their homes through a scientific analysis of the home's construction and performance. We then help home owners select contractors to make the improvements in the home. Finally, we sell energy efficiency products through our on-line store. We're growing fast and we need your help.
Responsibilities:
The ecobeco Operations and Marketing Manager will manage the day to day operations of ecobeco's home energy auditing business with responsibility for ensuring high quality customer service throughout the energy audit through home retrofit process.
You will manage customer touch points, including making appointments, managing the master schedule, and communicating with customers via emails and phone calls to ensure customers are informed and excited about our services. You must love talking on the phone!
You will also have partial responsibility for marketing outreach such as coordinating events, developing marketing materials, and ensuring we have sufficient materials on hand when we go to marketing events.
Qualifications:
You should be able to work 5 days per week either on-site at our North Bethesda / Rockville location or from home during core business hours (10am - 3pm). This job has the potential to become full time / 40 hrs as the company grows but is Part-Time (25 - 30 hrs /week) to start.
The ideal candidate is:
- College graduate.
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and e-mail.
- Very well organized and can absorb many things happening at once and create structure and rules where needed.
- Solves problems through creative thinking.
- Passionate for energy efficiency and the environment.
Compensation: Salary will be based on experience. No benefits are offered with this position.
