Position Overview:

Koch Architects has an immediate opening for a part-time (possibly turning into full time) position.  We work in a collaborative environment that encourages inventive ideas and creative solutions for our clients. We have a strong interest and commitment to sustainable design solutions. Most of the projects are single family residential located throughout the Bay Area and Wine Country.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze blueprints/specifications
  • Assemble/request as built drawings and owner materials
  • Conduct site inspections
  • Coordinate procurement of materials
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies
  • Maintain project documentation/records
  • Oversee landscape architecture
  • Provide comparison/material analysis
  • Provide status reports
  • Review proposals/project requirements

Qualifications:

We are looking for a creative individual with a minimum of 5 years of residential experience to manage projects from Schematics through Construction Administration. Candidates must be self motivated with good communication skills and have the ability to develop complete sets of construction documents including detailing building components. A thorough knowledge of AutoCad / Architectural Desktop is a must. 3D modeling experience is a plus. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

Compensation:  Based on experience.
