Position Overview: 

We have an immediate need for a Senior Organizational Efficiency Specialist in our Pittsburgh office.  Our OE Specialist will be responsible for implementing all activities of Energy Conservation Through Behavior Change® programs (ECTBC) including coordinating a portfolio of ECTBC programs in support of our existing performance contracts.  

You'll oversee the development of energy conservation programs by identifying, implementing, and assessing energy conservation solutions for customers' energy efficiency and capital improvement challenges.

You'll have a strong understanding of a wide range of behavioral offerings and have the communication and business skills necessary to bridge the gap between decision makers and energy consumer groups; translate customer needs into action plans, achieve necessary buy-in, and then implement the program, assess program effectiveness, and modify for subsequent implementation; provide problem solving and creativity to ensure behavioral change and financial success of all programs.

Responsibilities: 

Assist in all aspects of ECTBC audits and programs, including but not limited to:

  • Conduct on-site awareness-communication & behavior change activities.
  • Coordinate resources among multiple projects in various geographical regions.
  • Assist with development & design of new offerings related to organizational energy conservation.
  • Support Director, Sales, and Account Execs with marketing and prospecting potential clients.
  • Assist with review and QC of all ECTBC deliverables.
  • Prepare and provide customer presentations.
  • Assist with ECTBC promotions and marketing.
  • Provide continuous improvement to the Behavior Change section of NORESCO's web site.
  • Assist with research, budgets, assessment, and program development tasks.
  • Proposal writing and review/QC.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced college degree (PhD preferred).
  • 2 years experience in social, organizational, or community outreach programs preferred.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective persuasion, public speaking, presenting and training capabilities is required.
  • Must be highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to do extensive travel.
  • Possess excellent public speaking skills, writing skills and be environmentally conscientious.
