Position Overview:

Successful High Tech Manufacturer of Programmable Power Products and Rugged Military and Industrial Computers located in El Monte, is seeking a highly motivated Technical Support/Applications person.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st tier technical assistance to customers to resolve product failures.
  • Data entry and administration of product returns' documentation.
  • Assist QC with testing, evaluating, and diagnosing of returned product.
  • Assist outsides sales and clients with product support.
  • Overall sales support.
  • Assist with general customer service requests.

Qualifications:

  • AA Degree in Electronics and a minimum of 2 years work related experience.
  • Basic Hands on Diagnostics background using test equipment, such as programmable power products
  • Technical knowledge of computer hardware and software required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer support / service environment, plus 1- 2 years experience as an electronic technician, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with effective time management and personal organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented and good problem solving skills.

Compensation: This is a Full Time position, salary will commensurate with experience. Opportunity for growth into an Outside Application/Sales Engineer position exists for the right person.  Benefits include; Company Paid Medical & Dental programs and a 401(k).
