Natural Power continues to expand globally and we are looking for a driven and experienced technician to work in our newly established office in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a technical oriented role. Reporting directly to the ZephIR Business Manager - North America and working closely with our global sales team you must have the ability to work effectively as a team player.

Your responsibilities will include  the operations and maintenance of customer owned equipment well as coordination and project management activities associated with the rental and deployment of Natural Power's ZephIR lidar system. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing training to customers as required and the successful candidate will have strong communication skills and an ability to relay technical information and instruction in an easy to understand manner. Willingness to travel to remote locations in inhospitable environments throughout North America as well as occasional trips to the UK is required.

Qualifications:

The minimum educational requirements for this role include an Associates Degree in Electronics, Engineering or similar field is required although a Bachelors Degree is preferred.  You must have excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. The ability to understand basic electrical schematics as well as hands-on experience testing and repairing electronics equipment and circuitry is desirable.  Further, effective time management as well as effective customer communication skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail is required.

Some experience working in the renewable energies industry and knowledge of remote power systems is also highly desirable.
