Home Energy Auditing– Help NJ get Green!
Start-up Green firm in Kinnelon, NJ making homes more energy efficient needs energy auditors and assistant auditors. Our business involves having audit crews visit customer’s homes to determine how to reduce wasted energy and implement solutions. We provide the air sealing, weatherization and other required retrofit.
Qualifications:
You value your well-earned reputation with your bosses and co-workers for dependability, honesty and for getting the job done right. You are a flexible problem solver, willing to grow with a new business, collaborating with your co-workers and learning new equipment and concepts.
You have an understanding of how the pieces of a house go together based on your experience in construction, maintenance or HVAC work. Experience in some aspect of home construction is very helpful. Energy efficiency experience is desirable but not required.
You have been successful at working with customers in sales and post sales environments. You enjoy both technical and people-oriented problem solving.
Certification by the Building Performance Institute is required to become an Energy Auditor. Training leading to BPI certification is available. We can offer assistant positions while you are training, being tested and gaining experience to become an Energy Auditor.
