Position Overview:
The Strategic Marketing Project Coordinator position supports the development and execution of marketing plans for residential sector energy efficiency programs. Responsibilities include supporting the development of marketing plans, including conducting and/or coordinating market research and analysis, developing messaging, designing the measurement plan, and analyzing and reporting marketing effectiveness.
This position works closely with marketing department to oversee all aspects of materials design, production, and delivery, and monitors project progress to ensure the materials are delivered on time and within budget. Marketing materials and campaigns may include, printed program collateral, marketing materials, website content, events, public relations, communication tools and promotional components. Target audiences may include utilities, retailers, consumers, home builders, business owners and manufacturers.
Candidates should have at least 2 years experience supporting the development of strategic marketing plans and delivering a broad range of marketing and outreach campaigns. Strong strategic thinking, research, analysis, planning, communications, and organizational skills and a proven ability to multitask along with the ability to juggle multiple projects under strict deadlines and prioritize accordingly are a must. Successful candidates will be able to work in a fast paced environment, are innovative, creative, highly organized, detail- and solution-oriented and team-focused. Experience with environmental program marketing or social marketing is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Gain familiarity with programs to ensure marketing plan is in alignment with program goals
- Support development of marketing strategies and tactics from conception through execution
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive offerings and marketing approaches to develop effective marketing strategies
- Schedule and manage the design and production of program collateral and materials, and oversee development, production and delivery
- Measure, track and evaluate marketing initiatives across multiple criteria including response rates, cost/revenue analysis and overall results
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years experience supporting strategic marketing planning and project management
- Experienced at working in collaboration with designers and design teams
- Ability to write, interpret and apply market research data to strategic plans
- Ability to think and communicate creatively and strategically
- Collaborative and flexible, able to work with diverse team members and dynamic project demands
- Ability to work under pressure, with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong problem-solving skills and issue resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
