Position Overview:
Put your hunger to identify and create attractive business opportunities to work for clean technology by becoming a Marketing Specialist at EnerNOC. Based in Boston or San Francisco, you will have a unique opportunity to both inform and implement strategic marketing decisions. Play a valuable role in deepening our position as a competitive thought leader in the energy industry by working to usher our Demand Response offerings into new markets.
You will lead and manage creative campaigns in the markets you penetrate by fostering relationships with industry trade associations; securing and coordinating speaking, exhibiting, and sponsoring opportunities at conferences and events; and developing new content for marketing materials in your territory. Work on multiple projects while having fun with a committed team that is passionate about making the energy industry more efficient, effective, and environmentally sustainable.

Responsibilities:
As Marketing Specialist based in Boston or San Francisco, your primary mission will be to lead marketing initiatives that inform marketing decisions, identify and assess demand response opportunities, and enable EnerNOC to compete effectively in multiple emerging markets.
Qualifications:
Your proven ability to research and quantify market opportunities will be key to expanding our competitive reach, while your experience executing marketing strategies will enable you to subsequently saturate and grow the markets you penetrate.
Your attention to detail and your love of data will be critical to the competitive analysis and the strategic evaluation of new market opportunities. An impeccable ability to prioritize and organize will be crucial to managing multiple projects at once. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will greatly enhance the quality of work that you produce and the strength of messages and materials you generate on the company's behalf.
Your experience and comfort interacting with customers, market influencers, upper management and salespeople will help you build the credibility and relationships needed to increase your understanding of market initiatives and facilitate your execution of marketing campaigns.
