Meet OWP/P - a nationally recognized architectural, full-service architecture/engineering, and consulting firm.  We approach all of our work with sustainable goals.  We currently have over 25 LEED registered projects in development throughout all of our core markets and are committed to meeting the AIA 2030 challenge for all of our project work. 

This includes K-12 schools and higher education facilities, community centers, hospital bed towers, medical and commercial office buildings, and commercial interiors projects.  Our environmental consulting work includes; City of Chicago Department of Environment Chicago Green Homes Program Management, USGBC LEED Certification review team, USGBC LEED for Core & Shell Management, Chicago Department of Aviation standards, Chicago Public Schools standards, LEED and environmental design training for the City of Phoenix, and LEED consultation for both internal and external projects.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an individual to support our firm-wide commitment to integrated high performance building design and the ongoing growth of our sustainable consulting services.  This position has the ability to influence the energy use of all of our work and will support project teams in both our architectural and engineering studios. 

Qualifications: 

Experience with building energy efficiency and a working knowledge of building energy modeling is required.  Technical analysis skills to support our architectural and engineering design teams with experience using, E-Quest, DOE-2, and/or other energy modeling software is strongly preferred.  A working knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED certification is desired.  Demonstrated success in project team and client interaction, a related degree in engineering or architecture, and outstanding communication skills are important for success.
