The Las Vegas Valley Water District is one of the nation's fastest growing water utilities which is located in the beautiful desert Southwest & in one of the nation's fastest growing cities, Las Vegas, NV.  Nevada has no state income tax & the cost of living is lower than many metropolitan areas. 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and skilled individual to lead and coordinate the development and implementation of the Southern Nevada Water Authority/Las Vegas Valley Water District  sustainability programs including energy efficiency and conservation, recycling and waste prevention, renewable energy and other sustainability initiatives to meet organization-wide sustainability goals. Researches, plans and coordinates efforts to develop community-wide support for implementation of sustainable development programs and practices throughout Southern Nevada.  

Qualifications:

Requires graduation from a 4-year college or university with a degree in environmental studies, economics, business or public administration or a related field; and 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in an energy or sustainable development program; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Compensation: Salary: $95,362 annually (Relocation Assistance Available) 

Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm, M-F
