Description
Konarka builds power plastic that converts light to energy - anywhere. The company develops and manufactures light-activated power plastic that is inexpensive, lightweight, flexible and versatile. This material makes it possible for devices, systems and structures to have their own low cost embedded sources of renewable power. By integrating energy generation functionality into everyday devices, Konarka allows manufacturers to offer truly wireless applications.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Invoice matching, batching, coding, cutting checks, and processing purchase orders.
- Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
- Provide clerical support to the office such as filing business agreements and photocopying
- Manage outgoing shipping for Lowell office for a high volume of mail (UPS, FedEx, TNT)
- Includes packing and generating labels for shipments; tracking shipments; resolving delivery problems
- Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations, including flight, car, and hotel bookings, for employees in Lowell and visitors across the US.
- Act as receptionist for Lowell office. Includes identifying appropriate party to receive transfers in the case of vague requests, as well as occasional screening and the answering of questions regarding general company policy
- Responsible for the stocking, organization, and cleanliness of supply/copy rooms, kitchens, and conference rooms, as well as for the organization of storage areas.
- Plan and order catered meals for breakfast/lunch business meetings
Qualifications:
- High level of attention to detail.
- Team oriented, results focused individual with hands-on style committed to delivering a very high quality work product.
- Creativity and tenacity in analysis and problem solving. "Can-do" attitude; ability to work intensively with a full sense of ownership of the work product at all times.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while managing expectations internally.
- Word, Excel, Office Management Skills
- Experience with MSFT Solomon a plus
- Bachelor's degree
