Position Overview:
EnerNOC has an immediate opening for a front desk Receptionist/Office Administrator located in downtown Boston, MA. Hours for this position are 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.
The receptionist provides quick, efficient, and high-quality service to customers, investors, employees and the general public by answering and routing calls, greeting visitors, responding to inquiries from the public, and providing information about the organization. The receptionist also performs other tasks that contribute to the overall productivity and organization of the office.
Responsibilities:
Specifically, this person will support EnerNOC in the following ways:
- Greet visitors and answer the front desk phone in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain neat, organized lobby and client conference rooms, stock kitchen and office supplies
- Manage scheduling of conference rooms
- Act as a central point of contact for employee inquiries
- Provide information to new hires to acclimate them to the office environment
- Order office, kitchen and catering supplies
- Assign security badges and deactivate when needed
- Interface with building management on service requests and security matters
- Receive and send expedited packages, process regular mail and distribute faxes
- Maintain and distribute corporate-wide phone extension database to staff
- Maintain and update all reception handbooks and reference tools
- Indentify and raise any technical issues regarding the phone, auto-attendant system or other office equipment to the IT HelpDesk
- Create new-hire set-up list, mailbox labels
- Provide support for special event planning
- Provide administrative support to Corporate Services team tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2-5 years of professional experience in a corporate setting
- Must be organized, dependable, reliable, and punctual, and have a professional demeanor
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
