Description
Vista Solar is a newly formed and rapidly growing photovoltaic installation company. We perform installations on both residential and commercial facilities. However, our target market is large commercial installations.
Position Overview:
Vista Solar is currently looking to add a PV Installation Foreman to our team. In addition to being able to fulfill the responsibilities listed below, the ideal candidate will have PV experience, construction experience, Journeyman and/or a General Contractors License, and be enthusiastic about the future of solar.

Responsibilities:
- Attend site analysis sessions
- Supervise installation team members
- Maintain presence on-site during execution of installations
- Employ safe and accepted methods in the installation and use of photovoltaic equipment
- Listen and work to resolve customer concerns and problems
- Seek and attend additional training and certifications pertaining to position
- Ensure that the quality of work on projects meets or exceeds company and customer expectations
- Work to facilitate accurate and timely completion of Installations
- Other responsibilities as they arise
Duties:
- Contact and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, city planning officials, and general contractors to obtain drawings or project related information
- Submit permit paperwork to appropriate authorities
- Other duties as they arise

Standards of Performance:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of UBC and NEC regulations
- Demonstrated cooperative attitude
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to organize time and effectively prioritize projects
- Effective communication
