Position Overview:
Stratus Consulting has an immediate opening for an Environmental Scientist in our Boulder, Colorado, office.
Responsibilities will include working on ecological risk/NRDA injury assessments, fate/transport modeling, laboratory and field studies, managing and analyzing scientific data, scientific literature reviews, and report writing.
Qualifications:
- Qualified applicants will hold an MS in environmental toxicology, chemistry, ecology, environmental engineering, or a related field plus at least 2 years of directly relevant, non-academic, applied experience.
- Personal initiative, a flexible attitude, and the ability to multi-task and work with shifting deadlines
- Proven commitment to quality control
- Excellent communication and language skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database programs
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Occasional travel may be required
