Position Overview:
Geavista Group is currently seeking outstanding individuals to manage utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs in Dallas, Texas. These individuals will provide strategic direction and oversight to programs that increase the market penetration of energy-efficient and renewable energy technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed utility's annual energy savings and energy peak demand reduction goals.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to program implementers and ensure performance milestones and annual targets are achieved.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key electric utilities, stakeholders, market allies, and program implementers.
- Conduct market assessments to identify viable energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and assist in program development.
- Procure the services of consulting companies and contractors to implement energy efficiency programs.
- Manage contracts and budgets to achieve cost-effective energy savings for utilities and maximize efficiencies and profitability.
- Prepare program status reports to accurately monitor progress towards utilities' energy efficiency goals, completion of contract deliverables, and report annual achievements.
- Provide exemplary customer support and service.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred, in business management, marketing management, engineering, or environmental science.
- 3 - 7 years related experience.
- Analytical skills specifically in energy resources, business due diligence, or marketing analysis.
- Program management including budgeting, workflow management, quality improvement, etc.
