DOMANI is an executive level business advisory and technical consulting firm that helps Fortune 500 corporations realize new bottom line value through precise, market driven sustainability strategies. Areas include: energy and process improvement; climate change and greenhouse gases; sustainable building and development; and strategic sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform energy modeling (eQuest, etc.) to support energy efficiency recommendations and LEED certification
  • Support the identification and implementation of energy-efficiency practices and technologies for a variety of clients and building types (residential, commercial, industrial)
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to inform energy system design decisions
  • Establish corporate energy efficiency and renewable energy performance standards, metrics and criterion
  • Conduct onsite energy assessment studies with other DOMANI team members
  • Support energy awareness and energy-efficiency training programs for clients
  • Perform renewable energy pre-feasibility analyses
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy and quality related to energy issues and opportunities
  • Report writing and presentations

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Desire to be part of a green building team and contribute to a wide variety of Green Building/LEED projects, including but not limited to the areas of energy efficiency and clean energy strategies and technologies
  • Desire to support other sustainability practice areas as needed (industrial process efficiency, greenhouse gas management, etc)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience with DOE2 (preferably eQuest) energy modeling and analysis for end users
  • Familiarity with HVAC, lighting and electrical systems for commercial and multifamily residential buildings
  • Ability to write, speak and communicate ideas clearly and effectively
  • Client management/project management skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred:

  • LEED AP
  • Master's degree in engineering with energy focus
  • Experience with utility/government incentive programs
  • Experience with a variety of energy modeling and analysis software, including Energy-10TM
  • Experience with single family home energy and mechanical systems
  • Activity in related professional/trade organization(s)
  • Experience with other green building related modeling programs, including for daylighting, computational fluid dynamics, life cycle assessment / costing, etc.
  • Experience working with/on green buildings in design and construction phases
