World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, is working with a range of companies on identifying and addressing the environmental impacts in their agricultural supply chains.
WWF is seeking a Senior Program Officer for Supply Chain who will plan, manage, communicate and implement program priorities related to WWF-US's supply chain partnerships.
This includes providing strategic advice to private sector partners in the development of concrete activities in their supply chain that support WWF's mission and priorities as well as acting as day to day liaison with the relevant teams.
Basic requirements for this position include a Master's degree in natural resource management, agricultural economics, business or related areas is required. A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of seven years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a graduate degree plus five years of relevant experience.
Additionally, the successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of market-based approaches to solving environmental challenges and have specific experience working on agricultural commodities (e.g. sugar). Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, supply chain dynamics, corporate social responsibility and industry best practices is preferred.
