Green Restaurant Association (GRA) is an international, non-profit organization with the mission of creating environmental sustainability in the restaurant industry.

Position Summary:

The Communications coordinator is responsible for communicating the Green Restaurant Association's message to restaurants, vendors, and consumers through GRA's website and trade, niche, and mainstream media. The coordinator works with Certified Green Restaurants and GRA-Endorsed manufacturers to communicate their GRA certifications to their constituents.

The GRA has had much media success with stories in Time Magazine, CNN, Fox News Live, NPR, and various environmental and trade magazines. We are looking for the right person to expand upon that success.

Responsibilities:

* Do Media interviews
* Organize and attend the Green Restaurant Products Pavilion and GRA booths at various trade shows and events
* Work with GRA's clients to integrate their GRA certification into their brand
* Work with GRA's PR firm to Create Press Releases and work with Media to get stories about GRA, Certified Green Restaurants, and GRA-Endorsed Products into various media 
* Write Articles for GRA newsletter and for magazines 
* Create Marketing Materials and Signs
* Interface with environmental organizations to communicate GRA's message.
