Due to rapid growth, GEC is continuously adding Data Technicians to our Data Services group. Positions are available in Lowell, Massachusetts, and Seattle, Washington. Please specify which location you are applying to. 

Position Overview:

This position involves data collection, quality checking, and archiving. Previous experience in the wind energy industry is not required. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients and must deal with a variety of people in a courteous and professional manner. 

Qualifications: 

We are looking for individuals who are able to learn quickly, have excellent attention to detail, and are self motivated. Must be able to work independently and with a team. This position requires someone who can multi-task and prioritize various responsibilities. The ability to take ownership of and responsibility for the various tasks and projects assigned to you is required. A strong ability to manage tasks is required, as is the flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new issues and different tasks. The ability to write clear and accurate reports is essential. This position requires proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.) and the ability to learn new software.
