Description

Greenstar's primary focus in North America is in the recycle processing, commodity upgrading and commodity trading areas. One of its key goals is to provide customers with sustainable, innovative solutions to their recycle service needs and further drive disposal avoidance. Greenstar's growth is expected to continue to be based on a partnership approach with established leaders in the recycle sector. The company does not expect to enter the landfill or collection areas of the solid waste market.

Job Summary: 

Responsibility for generating sales with national and regional companies

Summary of essential job functions:

  • Develop leads and prospects for waste/recycling services  
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing  
  • Ensure profitability by adhering to pricing as established by Management  
  • Meet or exceed sales revenue goals  
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed that help create company growth

Minimum requirements:

  • College degree or commensurate industry experience  
  • Possess a competitive nature, a high degree of persistence with a strong sense of urgency  
  • Proven track record with national accounts preferably selling waste/recycling services  
  • Outstanding verbal and presentation skills  
  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate at Executive levels within national companies  
  • Ability to manage deadlines accurately, effectively and efficiently  
  • Ability to travel

Abilities required:

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively  
  • Ability to handle multiple projects  
  • Strong capabilities using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
