Responsibilities:
The Assistant Project Development Manager will be responsible for the timely coordination and documentation of contracts, permits, title issues, property owner communication, consulting reports etc. in conjunction with the real estate development efforts of Padoma wind farm development projects in the Texas region.
This individual will also be tasked with generating internal and external development and marketing presentation materials. They will ensure that project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately. Additionally, this individual will:
- Identify resources needed by engineers and consultant to meet their deadlines.
- Maintain development project milestone chart logging documents, commitments, agreements, etc.
- Interface with consulting engineers, property owners, utilities, consultants and attorneys as required to facilitate assigned duties.
- Support Executive Director of Development on site visits as required and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4 + years experience in directly related functions such as: real estate development, wind power project development, or conventional power plant development involving real estate development issues.
- Effective in working with multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firms required in the project development and construction processes.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in budget tracking. Understanding of financial analysis, projections and project controls.
- Demonstrated highly effective organization and time management skills.
- Skilled in utilizing business software applications including MS Project, Primavera, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- A degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or combination of equivalent education and relevant experience
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of real estate title issues and processes including land leases
- Legal background.
- Project finance experience
- Project design and engineering software such as, XMap, DeLorme, GIS Editor, & AutoCAD.
