Description

Mid-level account manager and team player sought for Verde PR & Consulting, a boutique sustainability-oriented communications and consulting agency located in beautiful Durango, Colorado.

We are a growing, five-year-old agency with roots in the outdoor and health/wellness markets. Successful candidate must be creative. A good sense of humor and bedside manner are very important. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

* Communicate the value and vision of agency and actively promote that value and vision to media, clients and prospective clients
* Round out agency client menu offerings to include crisis communications, integrated external and internal communications
* Strengthen and integrate agency's sustainability commitment and branding into all aspects of business and client relationships
* Improve and integrate agency sustainability services with client goals
* Improve agency systems for effectively managing clients
* Build strategy for and manage designated list of clients, directing PR strategy for each client
* Produce consistent and strong product placement and public relations results for designated list of clients
* Create and implement budgets for agency and clients
* Consistently report on progress and initiatives to clients and president
* Proactively build trust-based relationships with agency clients and media contacts
* Create promotion/PR strategy for agency clients around brand, products and ustainability platforms
* Research sustainability building measures for agency and clients
* Work with our team to make agency a vehicle for positive change 

CORE SKILLS 

* Bachelor's degree, Master's a plus
* Minimum of 5-7 years PR, branding and marketing management experience
* Desire to make a positive contribution through PR
* Strategic thinking and implementation
* Working successfully within a budget
* Strong selling skills
* Strong creativity
* Ability to multitask
* Ability to manage others and work as part of a team
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Strong organizational capability
