Description

MRAG Americas, Inc., an internationally-recognized fishery consulting company, seeks a lead Chain-of-Custody (CoC) Assessor to serve as manager for CoC certifications, stationed in our St. Petersburg, Florida office.

Retailers, distributors, and processors who distribute fishery products that meet the requirements of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) must undergo CoC audits. The lead CoC assessor will be directly involved in all aspects of CoC certification assessments and audits including scheduling, project management, customer service, consultant management, and quality control. The lead CoC assessor will also be expected to participate in projects as an auditor.

A candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in fishery science, natural resources, food science, or a related field. The lead assessor must have experience conducting traceability audits, experience with management systems, and an ability to manage projects. Environmental management system auditor training experience and knowledge of MSC certification is preferred.

The position requires a creative person who is flexible and can work productively on a number of projects simultaneously. The person must have good research and analytical skills and must be able to demonstrate high-quality report writing ability. The position will require substantial travel in the US and abroad.

Compensation:
