Our prominent wind development client seeks a top construction supervisor for installation of wind towers across several key segments of the US. The right candidate will work on one key project at a time. This is for those with experience in wind and seek a permanent home with a solid and growing company - committed to wind development.
Construction Supervisor

Wind Tower/Turbine Installations

This position will lead the erection of the tower under the supervision of a project manager and an overall wind park manager. If you know anything about the wind energy business you will know that top wind turbines are in great demand and are sold before they are even manufactured, and carry a growing backlog of orders. This is a fast-paced business for those detail oriented and technically inclined.
The person most likely to be successful in this position is:
- Honest, hardworking, and has a likeable personality.
- Has a "can do" attitude. Works well with others and can delegate. Communicates clearly and concisely. Can manage multiple projects.
- Currently in a supervisory position commanding work crews and checking in daily with progress reports. These are large projects. Some wind farms represent $250,000,000 in investments.
- No degree is required. Technical degree preferred. Engineering degree a bonus. Required exposure and training in construction, electrical, mechanical, or engineering disciplines/competencies.
- Someone of high intellect and professional carry combined with a hands-on, team interface mentality.
- Able to work with project managers.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Computer literate.
