Ecos Efficiency Solutions - The Efficiency Solutions business unit is the revenue engine of our company and as a member of this team, you are critical to our success. Our Efficiency Solutions Team has an immediate need for a senior level Strategic Account Manager in our San Francisco, California office.

Role Description

As the Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible to build, maintain, and leverage relationships with our northern California utility accounts with the objective of increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty while growing the book of business. This key role will be responsible to generate new business and provide stewardship for our energy efficiency, demand side management service portfolio for the strategic account. 

As our Strategic Account Manager, you will combine multiple functional attributes such as sales, business development, and marketing to develop an effective account strategy and implementation plan focused on building profitable business relationships with our major utility partners in Northern California. 

You will evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. You will review market analysis, initiate deployment strategies, monitor competitive activity, identify and resolve customer needs. You will ensure customer communication across all of Ecos' business channels is seamless and Ecos is positioned to leverage all revenue opportunities. 

In addition to increasing the business with strategic accounts, you will mentor and lead others in the organization in the development and deployment of a customer-facing strategy executed through direct and indirect resources. 

Through effective leadership, you will help drive efficiencies through business processes, goal deployment, sales operations, organizational effectiveness, planning and resource allocation to insure customer satisfaction in assigned accounts. 

As a Key Team Member, you will utilize cross-functional teams of subject matter experts and implementation leaders to insure excellent execution of program design, program execution, and client management. You will mentor others to insure world class performance through the business development, program management, and marketing organizations. 

As an Ecos team member, you will actively participate on committees and associations to drive industry standards and position Ecos as an industry leader. 

As our ideal candidate, you will possess significant experience in developing high-quality customer relationships and have proven experience closing sales in energy efficiency, demand side management programs in the residential, commercial and/or industrial sectors. You will possess a proven track record of developing strong customer relationships while meeting and exceeding business development objectives. 

As a key team member of the Efficiency Solutions Team, you will enjoy matrix management and be able to accomplish tasks with a high degree of flexibility. You will possess excellent written and verbal skills and be adept at managing client relationships. You will also be able to manage multiple tasks; from budget modeling to client meetings to new proposal development. You will possess strong planning, implementation, and organizational skills. You enjoy impromptu brainstorming and possess strong problem-solving aptitude. 

As our ideal candidate, you will possess a Bachelor's Degree and seven years of relevant work experience with an energy supplier, energy technology provider, DSM consulting firm, or an unregulated or regulated utility. 

If you bring an existing book of business, an established network of target contacts, and/or a significant contact base with the utilities in the greater Northern California area, you will be at the top of our list.
