BlueWave is seeking an Associate to work with a highly motivated team to perform the following services:
* Consulting Support: Provide research, writing and administrative support on various consulting projects. This may include, but may not necessarily be limited to: grant-writing, general research, attending client meetings, recording and distributing meeting minutes, maintaining clients' websites, planning meetings, creating and maintaining critical pathway schedules, coordinating public outreach efforts, preparing deliverables, and contributing analysis and insight to the project at hand when appropriate. 45%
* Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to BlueWave Partners, John DeVillars and Stephanie Pollack. This may include: correspondence with outside parties, filing, scheduling, rolodex maintenance, ad hoc research, and organization/oversight of key project files and materials. 40%
* Business Operations: Manage and execute internal business operations alongside the Director. Operations include developing and updating marketing materials, maintaining company website, distributing quarterly e-newsletter, basic accounting responsibilities, office management, coordinating team schedules for events and meetings, basic IT support, and undertaking other internal ad hoc projects as necessary. 15%
Qualifications
Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies/Science, Government/Public Policy, business or a related field. Two to four years of relevant work experience is preferred. It is critical that candidates have superior written and oral communication skills. Candidates should be able to work in a demanding and dynamic office environment and be very comfortable with client interaction.
