Responsibilities:
Marine Research is seeking scientists and engineers to fill several consulting positions in their Ventura office.
Successful applicants will assist in the preparation of environmental assessments and permit applications for a full range of clients including private industry, and local, state, and federal agencies.
Tasks can include field sampling, data acquisition and analysis, fundamental research, report writing, and oral presentation. A variety of offshore (oceanographic) and onshore (land-use and permitting) assessments are currently being conducted.
Education Requirements:
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, ecology, or land-use planning.
Skills Requirements:
Candidates must have strong analytical, computer, written, and verbal skills. Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA is desirable.
