3 Phases Energy, a national renewable energy marketing and project development company with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Portland, is soliciting candidates for an experienced Utility Partnership Manager to manage its new voluntary green pricing program for the St. Louis metropolitan area, eastern Missouri, and southern and central Illinois. This position will be based in 3 Phases Energy's new St. Louis, Missouri office.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Company/Division: 3 Phases Energy Services LLC, Utility Partnerships/Green Certificates Start Date: April 1, 2006
3 Phases Energy is seeking an individual to manage and lead a best-in-industry team that will market renewable energy to the diverse customer base of a large investor owned utility. This candidate will be responsible for successfully managing the design, marketing, and management of a utility green pricing program, including outreach and marketing to corporate, industrial, residential, and small commercial customers and management of a St. Louis and Illinois 3 Phases Energy staff.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
I. Marketing Experience:
- Marketing of energy, electricity, renewable power or sustainable consumer products to residential and commercial customers
- Developing, managing, and evaluating direct mail, print advertising, radio advertising, bill insert, and online marketing campaigns
- Developing marketing copy and messaging
- Managing creative/graphical design development processes
- Analysis and reporting of marketing efforts
- Management of marketing budgets
- Planning, organizing, and managing community outreach, events and event marketing teams
- Managing PR and earned media development initiatives
- Developing and managing retail and nonprofit marketing partnership relationships
- An interest in leading a renewable energy campaign
II. Missouri and Illinois Market Knowledge, including deep knowledge of diverse customer segments, demographics, and culture found in the in urban, rural and suburban areas of St. Louis, eastern Missouri, and southern and central Illinois.
III. Electricity and Renewable Power Knowledge. Strong candidates will have experience working with utilities and/or other load-serving entities, energy or environmental policy and an understanding of the mechanics and motivations of utility operations, a regulated and deregulated electricity marketplace, its stakeholders and the drivers of renewable energy purchases.
IV. General Management and Partnership Management Skills. Strong candidates will have a track record showing:
- Training and managing marketing, sales, and/or customer service teams towards a specific sales or enrollments goal
- Staff leadership, supervision and management responsibilities
- Ability and desire to foster a healthy work environment and mentor a staff of committed individuals
- Budget management experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- An ability to manage complex, multi-year program partnerships
- Ability to network extensively in Missouri and Illinois energy, regulatory, environmental/sustainability, university and business communities
- Ability to execute in a multi-office organization
- Consulting and client services experience and/or experience in a regulated industry is a plus
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- A willingness to "do everything"
