Position
Industrial Technology consists of niche technology companies that develop proprietary products in the manufacturing, aerospace and defense, utilities, homeland security, and telecommunications markets. We are interested in a candidate that has a good understanding of alternative energy technologies.
Responsibilities
Prepare company and industry research reports under direction of senior analyst; Create and maintain financial models; Review company filings and trade publications for covered companies; Perform due diligence with industry sources; Respond to requests for information from institutional sales force; Present to institutional sales force in absence of senior analyst; Communicate investment ideas to buyside investment clients, including mutual funds and hedge funds;
Skills Required
Good understanding of alternative energy technologies; Financial modeling and understanding of general accounting concepts; Solid writing skills; Detail oriented; Ability to work in a high pressure, time sensitive environment; Good communication skills; Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
