Description
ONE/Northwest is a growing Seattle-based nonprofit that partners with environmental organizations to transform the way they communicate, build relationships and collaborate. We operate at a movement-wide scale, strengthening connections between groups working on a wide range of issues and approaches to protecting the environment of the northwest corner of the North American continent.
ONE/Northwest was founded in 1995 with backing from the Bullitt Foundation and Seattle-area philanthropist Paul Brainerd. Since that time, we have served over 850 environmental organizations and "wired" a next-generation computing and communications infrastructure for a regional environmental movement stretching across Alaska, Montana, Idaho, British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. We have established a solid financial base and are now at an exciting point in our history when we can begin putting this state-of-the-art communications network to work in bringing about societal changes that ensure a high quality of life for generations to come.
We are seeking a Manager of Individual Giving to develop and manage our growing individual giving program. If you are a dynamic individual with passion, leadership and a love for challenge, this may be your next job.

- Provide strategic leadership as a member of our fundraising team
- Serve as lead staff person to the board fundraising committee to engage board members in peer-to-peer fundraising and outreach
- Identify, qualify, cultivate, and solicit individual support for ONE/Northwest, including major gift fundraising ($10,000+)
- Create and manage strategic cultivation and stewardship events involving individuals
- Oversee and manage internal processes and systems including, but not limited to gift processing, donor acknowledgement and stewardship
Job Requirements:
- Strong passion for environmental protection, social change and the power of technology
- Excellent communication and people skills; confidence in meeting with existing and potential individual funders either one-on-one or in groups
- Goal and outcome-oriented, coupled with strong organizational skills
- Resourcefulness, initiative and high energy

- Connections to the Seattle-area technology and venture philanthropy community a plus
