Capital Markets Group Associate

FINCA International, Inc. is a Washington, D.C-headquartered international financial organization that provides loans and other financial services to poor families in 22 countries in Latin America, Africa and Eurasia.

Job Overview:

The CMG Associate will provide the Capital Markets Group (CMG) and General Counsel's (GC) Office with administrative support toward the larger objective of monitoring the legal and financial needs of FINCA's network. This includes supporting CMG/GC staff with organizing documentation for loans and deals, maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems, transaction logistics, and basic administrative functions, as well as providing as-needed support for CMG/GC initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

• BS or BA degree, or equivalent work experience;     
• Minimum two years work experience, with at lest one year of experience in finance, or microfinance-related field;     
• Strong organizations skills;     
• Strong writing and presentational skills;     
• Strong numerical and analytical skills;     
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;     
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision;     
• High degree of computer literacy; proficient in all MS Office applications;     
• Spanish and/or Russian fluency a plus;     
• International, banking, and/or legal experience an asset.
