Realistic Idealism, LLC is an independent for-profit company dedicated to becoming the web's premier online resource center for social and environmental education. While still in the final stages of development, we expect the website to go live in January 2006. We are searching for someone with web-advertising and sales experience to join our team as an independent consultant.
The ideal candidate would satisfy all qualifications listed below as well as have a strong understanding of, and belief in, social responsibility and environmental ethics. For the right candidate, this position has great growth potential.

Position Description:
* To identify, contact and develop relationships with appropriate advertising personnel at targeted companies and organizations.
* To reach agreements with potential advertising clients in order to meet set sales goals.
* To provide support and consultation to Executive Director on all business issues related to sales & marketing and advertising.
Primary Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and minimum 4-6 years professional experience to include web based advertising and a successful record of closing deals.
* Strong sales skills including persuasion and negotiation, problem-solving, and superior oral and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of web-advertising principles and practices.
* Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter. Time management skills and dependability, diligence and organizational skills are vital.
* PC and internet literate with strong background in Word, Excel, Outlook, internet research, and databases (MySQL preferred).
Compensation: This position is commission based; receive up to 30% plus bonuses for achieving sales goals.
