Description
Seeking technician to support operation of a pilot-scale Emissions-to-Biofuels system at a power plant in Phoenix. The successful candidate will work as part of an integrated operations and maintenance team, and will have primary responsibility for the checkout, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the pilot unit, and may support future pilot operations at other locations. The candidate must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, biology/chemical laboratory skills, the ability to operate Labview-based control system, and preferably have experience with operating or maintaining pilot or large-scale process equipment.
Candidate must be able to climb ladders/stairs, lift 40 lbs., and work outside; be available for field assignment; be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team as well as independently. A flexible schedule is needed to support the field unit.
Minimum qualifications:AS in biology or chemistry plus 5 years experience, or BS in biology/ chemistry or equivalent. Prior experience working in industrial settings is highly desired.
