Do you want to protect small family farms from industrial agriculture?
Do you want to preserve cultural and heritage foods from industrial homogenization?

GRACE is seeking interns who are interested in sustainable food issues and would like to help update and expand the Eat Well Guide (www.eatwellguide.org), an online directory of sustainably raised meat, poultry, dairy and eggs in the U.S. and Canada. The Guide is part of GRACE's latest campaign, Sustainable Table (www.sustainabletable.org).
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to help research, gather data, and shape the Guide in order to help consumers find safe, sustainable food. Applicants should be organized, detail oriented, comfortable working with large amounts of information, and enjoy working in a small office atmosphere with other likeminded people. Must have excellent phone skills and enjoy working with people all around the country and in Canada.
Other qualifications:
GRACE is seeking college/graduate students or recent graduates who can commit to a min.10 hours/week. Hours are flexible, but regularity is important. We offer reimbursement for local travel and a small stipend for lunch on days in which you work 4 hours or more.
