Description

Full time position; Begin immediately 

 

Responsibilities include care and maintenance of existing buildings on the premises as well as constructing new buildings. This position involves several responsibilities including; acting as a resource to the summer camp staff, leading/teaching interns in the spring, summer and fall. The carpenter will at times work independently, as well as working as an active member of the facilities staff to support the stewardship and mission of Farm & Wilderness. 

Qualifications: Proficient in all aspects of carpentry from ground work to finish work.  Knowledge of hand and power tools and their maintenance. Flexibility. Experience with teaching/supervision. Good communication skills a must. 

Wages and Benefits: Salary depending on experience. Medical insurance. Paid vacation. Access to farm food.
