Description
Community Energy, Inc. seeks an analyst to manage the installation and maintenance of wind monitoring equipment, data collection and reporting at remote data stations for the company wind measurement program. The person will be responsible for quality assurance/quality control of time-sequence data sent via remote telecommunications from meteorological field stations to a central management system. The person will be experienced with field measurement campaigns, data management, electronic equipment and computer hardware/software. The person will manage numerous large data sets, assure accurate equipment operation and report on the relevant statistical information.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage equipment installation and maintenance and data collection and find solutions through the use of computer based applications. Experience in the wind industry is preferred however, candidates from other fields requiring similar skills will be considered.
Qualifications:
- Background in meteorology or physical science with course work in computer science a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years full time work experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and data management responsibility a plus.
The position will be located in the Wayne, Pennsylvania office. Significant travel will be required. Salary will be commensurate with experience. This full time position includes company benefits.
