We design and install solar power systems for businesses and residences in California, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

Job Description:

You already know that solar power systems generate environmentally friendly electricity from the sun, and that these systems provide terrific economic benefits to both business and residential customers. Akeena Solar has a proven approach to educating prospective customers about the reasons why grid-tied solar PV is good for the environment, the economy and their own lives.

We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced sales executive who can qualify residential and business prospects on the phone, meet with them to evaluate their needs and perform a thorough site analysis, follow up with an objective and comprehensive sales proposal, close the sale, interact with the customers during their installation and ensure 100% satisfaction. You will also generate additional customer leads from referrals, business directories, personal networking and other business development activities.

Job Requirements:

Strong knowledge of photovoltaic industry and demonstrated sales experience are required, as are good sales management, customer tracking and project management experience, and a mastery of MS Word and MS Excel. Understanding of electrical systems, HVAC systems, roofing systems and building construction techniques a plus. Bachelors degree required.
