The Tennessee Clean Water Network (TCWN) is the only statewide organization in Tennessee that works solely to protect water quality in Tennessee. TCWN does this by encouraging water conservation-friendly policies at the State and Federal level as well as engaging the citizenry on water issues that directly affect them.
Qualifications
The position of Director of Development and Communications requires a person who has experience in financial development of organizations and the ability to communicate the organization to the public. A candidate must demonstrate success in foundation grant writing as well as the ability to cultivate and solicit major donors. The candidate must have excellent verbal, writing, organization and planning skills in order to enthusiastically convey the mission of the TCWN to our members and the general public. This candidate must also have experience working with print, radio and television media. Some administrative duties also come with this position. A detailed list of duties is available upon request.

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience, but not to fall below $30,000 per year plus a generous benefits package. Relocation expenses may be negotiated.
TCWN is located in Knoxville, Tennessee; one hour from the beautiful Great Smokey Mountains National Park, the Nantahala National Forest and the Cherokee National Forest. Knoxville is a rapidly growing city on the banks of the Tennessee River and home of the University of Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball teams.
