Description
REMSA, Inc.a small woman-owned consulting firm with 50 professionals located in southeast Virginia. REMSA has provided technical, professional, environmental and research services for over 16 years to governmental and commercial customers.
Duties
- Assist with developing Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
- Assist with database management
- Assist with developing 3D visualizations
- Assist with integrating theoretical modeling results and laboratory/in situmeasurements
- Explore and become familiar with other appropriate software languages and packages in order to perform assigned tasks
- Assist with other tasks as determined by the project leader
Requirements
The primary programming tool and analytical package is Interactive Data Language (IDL) Secondary languages and packages include PERL, Oracle, Excel, Linux, and Web scripting.
Qualifications
B.S. Marine Science/Biology and Computer Science
Miscellaneous
Be authorized to travel and to participate on research survey cruises. Successfully complete a federal security check.
