Description
The U.S. Green Building Council , a Washington, DC-based national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally-responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work, is currently seeking a new staff member to support the rapidly growing workshop department for its green building rating system program "LEED" (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).
The Workshop Assistant will assist with workshop coordination, customer service (phone and email), marketing support, database management, and registration for 6-8 training events per month.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, comfortable handling multiple tasks, and have excellent customer service, communication, organizational and computer skills (MS Office, data entry, database query and report writing). College degree and event planning or customer service experience required.
Salary mid to upper $20K with great benefits.
