Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Nature Store at our Center for Research & Education in Goshen, NJ. Duties include direct sales, customer service, purchasing and inventory management, developing store advertising and press releases for store related sales and activities, developing and presenting programs and leading natural history walks.
Qualifications
Retail Management experience required. Computer skills in data base management, spreadsheet programs, word processing essential. We are seeking a person with excellent customer service and communication skills, who is highly detailed and well-organized, capable of initiating, executing and managing projects, able to work independently and as a team player. Knowledge of natural history or the birding market preferred.
Compensation
This is a full-time position with benefits, salary commensurate with experience.
