Description
Responsibilities: Work with project managers to plan, develop, edit, write, and rewrite complex environmental documents. Perform substantive editing and copyediting, ensuring that documents meet professional requirements for organization, grammar, style, and format. Work directly with technical team on document format, style, presentation, and content. Coordinate and manage document production. Develop and follow style guides. Help document processes and improve existing procedures.
Requirements: BA/BS degree in related field and minimum 5 years of experience. Excellent knowledge of standard English, effective writing, and copyediting principles and practices. Ability to clarify complex written materials, communicate with employees at all staff levels, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high-quality work under tight deadlines. Must pass editing test and have strong MS Word skills (including templates and style tags). Please send a writing sample with your resume and cover letter. Proposal experience a plus.
