Description

EPA's Energy Star program seeks an energetic person to help develop and implement strategies to increase energy efficiency in the commercial sector, with a focus on the retail industry.

Energy Star partners with a range of private companies, schools, and government organizations to encourage them to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from their operations through improved energy efficiency.

Duties:

This position is for a member of the commercial sector outreach team, and includes activities such as strategic planning, outreach, recruiting, marketing, material development, analysis, and communicating accomplishments (both internally and with industry partners and associations).

Qualifications:

  • Strong candidates will have excellent communications skills, an understanding of corporate organizational structure, decision-making, and financial value, proven analytical skills, and, ideally, a background in both the retail industry and energy efficiency.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Familiarity with ENERGY STAR is a plus.
