Tucked away in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York and only ten miles west of Kingston (or 100 miles north of New York City), the Ashokan Field Campus is an outdoor/environmental education center owned and operated by Campus Auxiliary Services of the State University of New York at New Paltz.
Its 372 secluded acres of glistening natural beauty lie adjacent to the Ashokan Reservoir and the wilderness areas of the Catskill Forest Preserve and provide the inspirational backdrop for hands-on educational experiences and group retreats with themes in all disciplines.
Duties:
We are seeking a marketing professional for a variety of short and long-term objectives and to assess appropriate groups to market to;
- coordinate and evaluate current marketing material;
- build relationship with SUNY New Paltz community;
- execute front line marketing effort to target groups via phone calls,
- direct mail and personal presentations and develop ongoing marketing program for staff to carry forward.
Terms:
This is either a 40-hour a week position for a period of two months with the possibility of renewal or a 20-hour a week part-time position.
Compensation is $15 - $20 per hour with no health benefits.
